Bayer 50: Did You Know?
The first 13.8 acres of the Bayer campus were purchased in 1956 for $42,000 from Marion Ewing of Collier Township and her sister, Amy Ewing Carpenter of St. Petersburg, Florida. Building One was built on that plot. Over the next 50 years , our footprint would expand to 17 buildings on 300 acres.| Thank You Pittsburgh!
